Taking a moment to comment on a trend that has always troubled me on tumblr. I love all the ladies of SPN, but I’m sad that in every single picspam I’ve seen celebrating the women of SPN in recent months, there are never any WOCs in them. I mean, I know SPN hasn’t had that many WOC (I’ll save that critque for later), but I’m always sad that characters like Cassie, Tamara, Missouri, Kali, etc. are never represented in the majority of fandom’s lady love-ins. It’s just a trend I’ve noticed a lot as I’ve been tracking the supporting characters tags for the comm I comod with Dot, Smilla, and Lass called fuckyeahspnsupportings. Characters of color overall don’t get much fandom love (in any fandom, not just SPN), but I’ve always been really surprised that even in the collages with women characters for SPN, I’ve rarely seen women of color :/
